I used to use until about 10 years ago a Polish program called MWsnap for screenshots. Select "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" 5. HyperSnap 6 worked great on my old laptop and HyperSnap 8 has not yet been made available to us an upgrade option and this problem basically rendered the software unusable for my needs.

SeanFromTX I recently encountered this problem after receiving a new laptop with Windows 10 to replace my old Windows 7 one. It's a weird feature of Windows, they can't make the system work correctly after you change this setting without re-logging. As soon as you log off and on again, it will all work correctly. Ignore Log Off (on Win10 click "Sign out later") Now try using HyperSnap "Capture region" or "Capture window" etc. Windows says - depending on version - that "Some apps will not look best" (Win10) or "will not work correctly" (Win8) until you log off and on again.
